pain pill addiction

my experience with this entity was primarily with dr dean willis. my first visit to his clinic i was provided with pain pills right away. then i was scheduled for a " procedure" the same visit. over a period of time i was given stronger and stronger pain meds and more "procedures" including facet joint injections, epidurals, ect. if i even hesitated about having another "procedure" i was threatened with termination of my pain meds. i was scheduled to return once a month to meet with a nurse to "go over" my current status . on one occasion the nurse remarked to me that i was being charged for an extended office visit which more than doubled the bill. he remarked it wasn't right to be charged unnecessarily for the extended visit . that was my last visit. i've had a lot of time to think about my experiences with the APC and have come to the conclusion that they are more interested in profit than helping patients. i feel i was given addictive pain meds to keep me coming back to run up the bill with procedures and office visits.i lived my life in a drug induced stupor the whole time i was associated with APC. it has taken me nearly 2 years to get off narcotic pain medicine. i feel i was taken advantage of and treated like a cash cow. be careful !
